While many various philosophies exist regarding this concept, one thing is clear: when students have choice, voice, and authentic opportunities to apply concepts, the learning is more successful. Along with an understanding of learning, developing a Growth Mindset and utilizing "feed forward" techniques are crucial skills to practice and deploy when "Growing Pains" occur, helping to keep the focus on learning. One way to do that is by establishing a learning network  that encourages curiosity, discusses ideas, and freely exchanges information.

Even though there are many different pieces at play for successful learning to occur, digital tools are the great equalizer that makes everything possible.
