What, if anything, stuck out to you? A few things for me:


  • Children are hard-wired for learning. The systems in schools are getting in the way.

  • Children enjoy learning. Those children were not forced to learn a language or make sense of the tools or topics. They did it because they were curious and it was fun for them to figure it out.

  • Children thrive with encouragement. (Granny Cloud!)

  • Learning is non-discriminatory (Loved that the younger sibling was teaching the older sibling!)

  • Technology is the bridge that closes the great educational access divide. (Hello remote village in India with a computer in a tree, and the kids learning English and a science I'm not an expert in with NO formal educational opportunities or teachers around!)

  • We (as a society, culture, etc.) are missing out on so many opportunities that are already available!


Let me share a few of my favorite quotes:

This was an amazing video and really inspiring to know that Sugata is still doing the work decades later. You can feel his passion in his presentation and it's still having an impact.
