Hey everyone! Wow, has it really been since January? Sorry for disappearing on you—life got wonderfully chaotic this spring in the best way possible!

I’ve been busy hopping between leading professional learning and speaking at some amazing conferences, including the G.R.O.W. Conference and this week at TETL. My favorite project so far has been really partnering with the Elementary Language Arts department to find innovative and practical ways to weave technology into the current curriculum. We have learned alongside many talented educators, iterated and implemented several projects, got some new information, rallied and pivoted- all marching forward with literacy in mind.

It’s been so rewarding, and getting a shout-out from my directors for keeping the focus on child-centered learning and building bridges between departments, was a true surprise and one of the best moments of my instructional coaching career! This work has fired me up more than ever. It's so clear we need to cut through the noise and show how edtech can be a powerful partner for learning, not just a software program or a gadget.

I have so many new ideas, lessons learned, and great books to share with you all. I can’t wait to dive back into writing about it! It feels great to be back!
