Hello Blogging, My Old Friend...

To say the start of this academic year has been fast and furious is an understatement.

I am so happy to return to somewhat of a predictable schedule, now that everyone has gotten into their flow...

The start of the professional school year has always been so invigorating for me. This year was launched July 17th with opportunities for sharing learning with others, connecting with colleagues, our yearly celebration of schools, and attending new learning sessions to grow. I've already had the opportunity to learn new things outside of Lamar, through reputable organizations such as Solution Tree, Seesaw Connects, and TCEA AI for Educators Conference!

In between all of the professional back to school was the personal side getting ready for school. I'm blessed with four children who began their Sophomore, Freshman, 3rd Grade, and 1st Grade years on August 9. These days were also filled with preparing their hearts and minds to shift from the sweet bliss of unhurried summer days back into the "school schedule". (Some took the shift easier than others... haha)

Needless to say, we are back in routine, and I am happy to be back.
